I build AI that answers phones and watches game film.

I'm Awad Buisir, a computer science student at Northeastern. Recently I built a bilingual English–Arabic voice agent for emergency-call intake, a phone receptionist that books real appointments, and a YOLOv8 pipeline that turns full soccer matches into highlight clips.

About

I study computer science at Northeastern (3.84 GPA, Dean's List) and graduate in August 2027. This fall I'm an AI Software Engineer co-op at NExT Consulting, building AI-enabled tools for client engagements. Since 2023 I've also run IT for AL Prime Energy across 70 sites and 1,000+ cameras, so I'm used to keeping systems working long after launch.

From AI concept to the court

A Libya basketball kit, designed with AI and brought to life.

I used AI to explore patterns, materials, and how the jersey would look in use, and the concept drew interest from the Libyan Basketball Federation. Then I produced it and sold 200+ jerseys for charity for the MSA Madness tournament, raising $15,000+. I also put together, played on, and coached the team I registered. We won the tournament out of 15 teams, and I'm donating the $2,000 prize to charitable work in Libya.
